Puget Sound Energy Rebates
After you receive your home energy assessment or Business Energy Review, you may qualify for rebates from Puget Sound Energy on specific improvement upgrades.
Federal Tax Credits
Homeowners can recoup up to 10% of the costs (up to $500) on the total cost of energy efficiency upgrade projects, such as qualifying windows, doors, insulation, roofs, HVAC equipment, water heaters, and even wood and pellet stoves. There is no cap on more expensive improvements, such as geothermal heat pumps and solar water heaters (available through 2016).
